The Alpaca Clothing Co
The Alpaca Clothing Co established in 1997 is located at the Alpaca Centre in Stainton, near Penrith at the gateway to the Lakes.
Opened originally as an Alpaca Farm, the Alpaca Centre was opened as a tourist attraction and clothing shop for visitors to the Lake District. As time passed the centre expanded into clothing and opened a clothes shop. Initially the shop began selling quality alpaca clothes made from baby alpaca and alpaca yarn. As time passed by the shop grew organically to become an extensive shopping experience with exquisite items crafted from the exceptional alpaca fibre – alpaca coats, childrens alpaca jackets, alpaca jumpers, alpaca cardigans, gloves, alpaca scarves, alpaca slippers and multi coloured chullos many hand crafted in Peru!
So the Alpaca Clothing Co was born! Today the Alpaca Clothing range is complemented by beautiful Nova Leather handbags, the Brax Clothing Feel Good range , Jorli's clothes for living and Robell's designer wear. Not to mention our alpaca teddies, alpaca rugs, hand painted ocarinas and many more gift ideas.
